The Halls of PowerThrough narrow approaches from the west and the north, the Oval Office corridor opens into a small waiting area just outside the Oval Office. To the south is the door to the president's office; to the north is a door to the Roosevelt Room. The west hallway leads down the to the office of the White House chief of staff as well as to the elevator and stairwell. The north hallway leads to the Cabinet Room and press secretary's office, as well as to a stairway to the ground floor. |
